The LA Times has produced a map of some 5,000 cases of alleged sexual abuse by men and women in the Boy Scouts of America from 1957 to 2005. Chillingly, the only pattern that emerges is that of US population density. In short, where there are people there are Boy Scout sexual abuse cases. To enhance the point of how widespread this epidemic is, I’ve overlaid the map with Stephen Von Worley’s now famous map of every McDonald’s in the US.
